This policy explains what HackathonFinder collects, why, and the choices you have.

1. What we collect

  • Your saved list and Team Finder posts. In this version they are stored only in your browser (local storage), not on our servers.
  • Your email, if you sign up for the weekly digest or submit an event, so we can send the digest or confirm details.
  • Event submissions, which become public listings once reviewed.
  • Basic usage data, such as pages visited, only if we add analytics. We will ask for consent first.

2. How we use it

To show and improve listings, send the emails you asked for, review submissions and keep the site safe. We never sell your personal data.

3. Event information

Listings contain information organizers have shared publicly. Organizers can ask us to correct or remove a listing at any time.

4. Your choices

You can clear your saved list by clearing your browser storage, unsubscribe from emails with one click, and ask us to see or delete any data we hold about you.
